Staging Design DC is expanding and our operations team is growing!
We are looking for movers to work alongside our team of staging designers to safely move, place, set up and remove staging and design installations while providing positive energy and top-notch customer service!
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handle installs (staging and placement) and removal (de-stagings) of product as part of two-man team under the direction of the assigned staging designer

Utilize inventory management system per warehouse procedures to pull selected products for each specific property and track them appropriately; assist staging designer to confirm all staged products

Pack and unload moving trucks per warehouse procedures for quality control to maximize the lifespan of each product

Pack and restock staging/de-staging kits, as needed; notify Warehouse Manager if any supplies need to purchased

Hang art, mirrors, shelves and other wall decor per company standard

Handle “extra” deliveries for clients, as needed

Assist Warehouse Manager as needed with warehouse cleaning and organization, furniture assembly, minor repairs, packing/shipping of returns, receiving deliveries, donations, and truck maintenance

Follow all warehouse and workplace safety protocols

Drive moving trucks up to 26’ (Mover-Drivers only)
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Dependable, flexible and punctual

Helpful and friendly team player with a willingness to do whatever is needed to get the job done right

Ability to use (or learn to use) and assist in maintaining an inventory database effectively and efficiently

Experience as a mover and/or in a warehouse environment is a plus

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfort and/or experience with driving moving trucks up to 26’ highly preferred

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must speak English; ability to speak Spanish is a major plus

Must have a social security number and smartphone
General schedule: Monday-Friday; although this position may require occasional evening or weekend work based on business needs.
This position reports to our warehouse location in Beltsville, Maryland. Successful candidates must have reliable transportation to/from work.
HOURLY RATE:
$20.00 - $25.00, subject to overtime
