We are looking for a Director of Operations who thrives at the intersection of creativity, logistics, and innovation. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strategic mandate: to build, optimize, and scale our operational and technological backbone in support of exceptional client experiences and continued business growth.
The Director of Operations oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations—warehouse and inventory management, logistics, fleet, staging and install workflows, field team performance, facilities, and the execution of technology systems, including implementation, automation and AI integration.
This role drives process excellence, team development, cross-functional collaboration, and smart scalability through both operational leadership and digital transformation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Leadership

Develop and execute scalable strategies for warehousing, logistics, and field operations.

Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing team across warehouse, staging, install, and logistics functions.

Align operations with broader business goals through close collaboration with executive leadership.
Technology, Automation & AI

Oversee and optimize all operational platforms (e.g., Stageforce, GoodShuffle, Airtable, Hubspot).

Identify and implement system integrations and workflow automations to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.

Lead new technology rollouts and adopt AI tools where possible to support logistics, inventory, and project management.
Warehouse, Facilities, Logistics & Field Oversight

Oversee scheduling and execution of all operational activities for staging, design, and rental projects.

Ensure optimal fleet operations and staffing to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service reliability.

Establish field protocols that uphold safety, professionalism, and brand standards on-site.

Maintain efficient, organized warehouse and inventory operations; optimize warehouse layout, space planning, and workflows to support a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
Data & Reporting

Develop dashboards and tools to track KPIs and project progress with real-time accuracy.

Use data insights to identify bottlenecks and guide improvements.
Facilities & Process Management

Oversee physical spaces and lead facility upgrades as needed.

Create and maintain SOPs to support consistency, scalability, and cross-department coordination.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

7-10 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the design, staging or hospitality industries.

Proven track record of managing complex, multi-team operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (e.g., staging, design, events, logistics, or related industries).

Strong experience implementing and managing operational platforms (e.g., inventory management, scheduling, CRM, logistics software).

Demonstrated success in leading systems integrations, automations, and new technology or software rollouts.

Experience leveraging data dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to drive performance and efficiency.

Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning applications in operational workflows is a strong plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business, Logistics, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
